First blog

I have been thinking about having a blog of my own for a while now. I was hesitant because everyone seems to have one and I tend to not do what others do.

I have wanted a place to vent to myself about knitting, work and most importantly my feelings about my hubby and his job in the military.

I have been knitting since I was 5 and crocheting since I was 6. I have an addiction to yarn and anything pertaining to yarn. I am fine with my addiction because it is my stress relief and I love that I can creat things and teach people how to create things.

I am a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and I do believe I am the youngest Member at 34 years old. I am trying to find my Grandfather's military history and would love to visit the places he went during WWII. He passed away when I was in Grade 9 but he never talked about the military or the war. I was also not at an age to know what questions to ask to find out what I now want to know.
