Guys Leaving

The first of our troops are leaving today for their rotation in Afghanistan. There are people I know going but Brian knows most of them because he works with them. I am feeling nervous today for the guys and I am remembering how I felt on the morning that Brian was going to Afghanistan in 2005. I am feeling sympathy for the family members who are staying here and I am feeling alot of pride for the troops who are being deployed. I hope all will have a safe flight and come home safely.

Brian was gone for 4 months and that was long enough. I know 6 months is not much longer than 4 months but I know for the family It will seem like forever.

I know and support that every friday is red friday to support the troops but I will wear red everyday to show support for the guys leaving for overseas.
