crazy week

So the car died and after just spending $400.00 on it last week they don't know what is wrong with it now. They are thinking transmission. I'm thinking OH MY GOD!!!

We are getting a second opinion today.

So this week there has been alot of walking in the -20 something + the windchill and bumming of rides.

I have not been sleeping this week either. I am sure it is the stress of the car and what it will cost to fix it.

I have been working on knitting an outfit for one of my best friends who is having a baby in Boston. You can see it at the top of the page. I am doing it in yellow dish cloth cotton so it will be soft and the color will be good for either sex. I am happy with it so far. It is a free pattern from Lion Brand. I hope she likes it.

I also finished 2 pair of slippers this week _ I just need to felt them.

This weekend we will either be car shopping or cleaning the basement to be ready for the dreaded natural gas that we will be getting on Feb 27.
